I first became a big fan of Kelly almost six years ago, when she won American Idol's first season. First, I thought she had a really powerful voice and real talent. Then I got to know the kind of person she is. Kelly is a funny, down-to-earth, strong, and determined girl. She's really been through a lot but she doesn't let anything stop her. What's surprising is how normal she is for being a celebrity. She actually eats and is comfortable in her body, she's not a party animal like some girls younger than her, and she is really grounded and knows where she came from. Now she's my biggest role model and I really look up to her.
